Consorzio della Bonifica Renana (coordinator): responsible for the project and management of the actions that directly affect the consortium canals

The Consorzio della Bonifica Renana is a public law body that brings together all the owners of land and buildings that are located within its district, located in the River Reno basin.

By virtue of state and regional regulations, Consorzio della Bonifica Renana carries out, in a subsidiarity regime with local authorities, a series of essential functions both in the plains and in the hilly and mountainous areas.

Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna – DISTAL and DIMEVET Departments: responsible for the scientific investigations related to the analysis of flora, fauna and water quality and for veterinary experimentation in the control of invasive alien species.

DISTAL (Dept. of Agro-Food Sciences and Technologies) is the Department of Excellence 2018-2022 for the Ministry of Education, University and Research which has contributed significantly to the University of Bologna reaching 48th position in the “Agriculture & Forestry” sector of the QS World

DIMEVET (Dept. of Veterinary Medical Sciences) has been accredited since 2014 by the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE). In Europe, out of about 100 Institutions that provide Veterinary Medicine training and education, to date, only 11 have obtained this recognition.

Legambiente Emilia-Romagna: responsible for communication activities and the participatory process aimed at involving local communities.

Legambiente Emilia-Romagna APS was set up in 1991 as a voluntary association, and transformed into an Association of Social Promotion initially in 2016 and then in 2019, according to the Third Sector Code.

It operates as a non-profit organization for the protection of the environment, natural resources and animal and plant species; the protection of the territory, landscape and historical and cultural heritage; for the promotion of lifestyles, production and consumption based on eco-development and a balanced relationship between human beings and nature.
